Baked Ziti Recipe

It's football sunday, so I decided to chef up some baked ziti for the hubby :)

My finish product !

Ingredients:

  1. 2 lbs of Ground Beef
  2. 1 carton (15 oz) of ricotta cheese
  3. Box of Ziti pasta
  4. 1 jar of spaghetti sauce (24 oz)
  5. 2 eggs, beaten
  6. 2- 1/2 ( 10 oz) cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  7. 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Instructions:

Start off by seasoning the ground beef. I use a homemade trini seasoning with black pepper, adobe, and some salt. I mix it all up then I put the meat in the fridge. Preheat the oven for 350 and now it is time to boil your pasta. While the pasta is bowling you can make your cheese mixture. Put the eggs, ricotta cheese, mozzarella, and parmesan all together. When the pasta is ready and soft drain the water out and mix the cheese mixture with the pasta. Put that aside take your meet out the fridge and cook it. When the beef is all cooked and brown add your spaghetti sauce. Mix it up!!. Now it is time to stack your ziti. Grease your pan, put 1/3 of the meat sauce into your pan then top it off with the pasta mix. Repeat this with meat on top. Put your pain in the oven for about 30-40 minutes. Take it out and add the mozzarella cheese then put it back in the oven for another 15 minutes. Take it out and let it cool. Serve and Enjoy! Hubby loved it :) Until next football sunday.
